Storytelling speaking. . .

The impact of great storytelling speaking on effective communication and purpose-led culture

For leaders, executives, and entrepreneurs

In this engaging talk, I tell stories to demonstrate the science behind effective storytelling and why and how stories work to significantly improve communication and embed purpose-led culture.

Storytelling speaking

For leaders, executives, and entrepreneurs

In this thought provoking talk, I explain the dominion of stories told from clarity of purpose and principles to effect a transformation in a changing world of business.  The talk goes on to demonstrate the ability of purpose-driven contextualised storytelling to change a negative narrative to one that fosters clarity, vision and collaboration.

Your stories matter

For business owners, entrepreneurs, and content generators

In sharing the inspiration for my 2014 TEDx talk that won a standing ovation from an audience of 1,000, I explain the back story that helped me craft and present it, but also how storytelling built a community of thousands that works today to help orphaned and vulnerable children.  This talk describes my experience that stories can enrich, change or even save lives.

Community, the new frontier?

Based on my experience of Knit-a-square and its world wide community and my belief that storytelling done from clarity of purpose fuels the human energy to do good in the world, I unfold how it  is only with community that we can change the world. The talk poses the challenge:  with a little help from your friends, what could you do in the world?

Just because we can, should we?

A question for discussion

Are you concerned about your children’s future and your granchildren’s cultural legacy. This is a new look at artificial intelligence and whether it will hinder, not help, a worried world.

The Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST) engaged Sandy McDonald to speak at our annual major conference in March 2015. From the outset Sandy was very receptive to developing content that would suit the needs of our audience and to deliver both a strong emotional and professional presentation that would resonate with our delegates from a range of levels and backgrounds. Sandy was a pleasure to deal with and kept us in the loop on her presentation development from concept through to final delivery. I would recommend Sandy for both corporate and community presentations.
